Welcome to this issue of Digital Display Insider! In this issue, we will be giving you valuable information as you navigate the Mobile Digital Billboard (M.D.B.) startup process.
Last week, we focused on one of the most important steps in launching your business—identifying your Dream Client. Knowing exactly who you want to serve gives you clarity, direction, and a strategy to attract the right businesses. But defining your ideal client is just the first step.
This week, we’re taking it further by introducing the Dream 100 framework, a powerful strategy I learned from Russell Brunson that completely changed how I approached selling Mobile Digital Billboard services. Instead of chasing random leads, the Dream 100 helped me focus on specific businesses that were the most likely to buy from me—eliminating wasted time and helping me land higher-value clients faster.
If you’re ready to stop guessing and start targeting the right businesses with a proven system, this issue will walk you through exactly how to build and implement your Dream 100 list. Let’s get to work!
If you’ve been following the past few issues, we’ve been laying the foundation for launching and growing your mobile digital billboard business the right way. We’ve talked about pre-launch marketing, crafting your Dream Client Avatar, and the importance of a structured sales approach. But today, we’re diving into one of the most powerful marketing frameworks I’ve ever learned—one that completely changed how I approached selling MDB services.
The Dream 100 framework was something I learned from Russell Brunson in his Secrets Trilogy. This concept isn’t just another sales trick—it’s a proven, repeatable method that has helped businesses of all sizes land their best and biggest clients. When I implemented the Dream 100 for my own mobile billboard business, I went from cold-calling random businesses to laser-targeting the companies most likely to buy from me—and it changed everything.
In today’s issue, I’ll walk you through exactly what the Dream 100 is, how I used it to grow my business, and how you can implement it to land high-value clients faster than you ever thought possible.
The Dream 100 is the process of identifying the top 100 potential clients who could transform your business and then systematically marketing to them until they buy from you. Rather than trying to sell to everyone, you focus on the right prospects—those who already spend money on advertising, have the budget, and fit your ideal client profile.
Instead of randomly knocking on doors, cold-calling strangers, or wasting ad spend on broad targeting, the Dream 100 helps you get specific. You’ll identify, engage, and nurture relationships with your ideal clients through a strategic, multi-touch marketing approach.
For a mobile digital billboard business, this means focusing on local businesses and agencies that already buy billboards, radio ads, or TV spots. These are the people who understand the power of advertising and are much more likely to become your customers.
When I first started out, I made the same mistake most new operators do—I assumed businesses would come to me the moment I bought an LED truck. After all, mobile billboards are eye-catching, unique, and more effective than traditional billboards. But the reality was no one knew who I was, and I had no strategy to get in front of the right decision-makers.
Then, I learned about the Dream 100. I stopped marketing to everyone and started focusing on the 100 companies that I KNEW would benefit most from my service.
I followed a three-step process that I’ll outline below
This process completely changed the game. Instead of cold pitching, I was warming up leads, building trust, and getting them excited about the potential of mobile digital billboards.
Step 1: Identify Your Ideal Clients
Before you start listing names, revisit your Dream Client Avatar from Issue #17. Who is your ideal customer? Consider these key factors:
Start listing businesses that fit these criteria in a spreadsheet or CRM. If you want a starter sheet, I have created a Google Sheet that I used in my local market of Omaha, NE. Save a copy of this sheet and then update the headings to match your business types you want to target. Then, fill in each type with specific businesses you want to target until you get to 100.

Step 2: Research Their Current Advertising
Once you have your Dream 100 list, it’s time to study what they’re doing now:
By understanding their current marketing, you can position your mobile billboard service as the missing piece in their strategy.
Step 3: Engage Before You Pitch
Before reaching out, establish some form of connection:
People buy from those they know, like, and trust. Your first outreach shouldn’t be a sales pitch—it should be a valuable interaction.
Step 4: Multi-Channel Outreach
Once you’ve engaged, it’s time to reach out directly. Here’s how:
**Pro-Tip — Pull up their Youtube Channel or social media and see if they have a video commercial posted. Download that or stream it directly from the site to your screens while you are at their business. They will love seing their own ads on the truck.
I’ve used all of these methods, and combining them is what gets results.
Once you’ve built relationships and engaged your Dream 100, it’s time to close deals. The key is persistence without being pushy.
The advertising industry has long sales cycles, so don’t be discouraged if it takes 6-12 months of working your Dream 100 list before you start seeing significant progress. Most new operators fail because they don’t see immediate results and every 3-6 months, they change what they are doing or selling.
Remember, this is a long game. Some of your Dream 100 will say “no” today—but will buy later. The key is staying consistent over a long period of time.
If you take nothing else from this article, remember this:
Most mobile billboard operators fail because they have no clear strategy on WHO to target.
The Dream 100 eliminates guesswork and lets you focus on landing the best clients.
This framework has been used by some of the most successful entrepreneurs in
history—including me in my smaller market of Omaha, Nebraska.
Your next step is to sit down and create your Dream 100 list today. Start with just 10 businesses and follow the process above. Keep going until you get it built up to 100 businesses.
If you’re serious about scaling your mobile billboard business, you NEED this strategy.
Now go build your list and start reaching out.
